San Francisco Giants - Candlestick Park

Did you know some of the peculiarities of this baseball city?

Aug 22, 1986

For our first park of the NL west coast teams we had a really cold evening game. (Colder than Exhibition Park, Toronto in April.) Now we head south to visit the two other NL west teams, but first past Laguna. the racetrack for sport cars, on to Monterey, where the fans awaited "US" in the harbor waters, then slong the most scenic Coastal Hwy 1 to Sam Luis Obispo after resting at Cuyucas by the Sea prior to finally arriving in LA.

San Francisco Giants - SBC Park

Sept 21, 2004

No Barry Bonds homer into McCovey Cove this day, but this is a very picturesque setting. When you attend a game here, remember to take a coat, sweater or blanket as it get quite cool as the sun goes down. Memories are made sometimes of sights seen but never visited; here however, we were able to complete that dream.
