New Mexico. Carlsbad Caverns should be visited by all. For those that believe other worlds have visited, then Roswell may be of interest. There are many locations to visit in New Mexico, from the White Sands desert to the Rio Grande river.
The native culture is very present with many historical sites, of particular interest may be Sky City or Acoma as it is now called.
New Mexico appears to have several ancient historic sites like the one we visited in the North West portion of the State.
We have created an overview of the river path of the Rio Grande that you may find interesting. Another area at the four state corners had displays set up by various native tribes, where one could walk in a circle visiting displays that had products of the four states; New Mexico, Colorado, Utah & Arizona.
The drive along Interstate 10 in the south shows many rock outcroppings but for the most part it is rather flat.
