John`s Comments
One of my favorite drives even when the road is one lane in either direction for the quite a bit of the journey once you leave Harrisburg and are heading north. It travels alongside the Susquehanna River and it`s tributaries for many miles and that is scenic also. Does take longer and road numbers change if you wish to take advantage of time. Overall, though, found this was a good break from the Interstates.
John`s Recollections
At several points the road is two-way traffic but it is guite scenic and one travels close to a major river tributary for many miles. Highlands in northern Pennsylvania can be quite scenic and for baseball fans the road passes Williamsport, home of the Little League World Series.
