John's Trip Comments
It is the size of some of the arches that will impress you most but a 10-15 Mile drive thru the Arches National Park allows you to visit many of the rock formations. The Delicate Arch is quite famous but the others are much easier to get close to and are quite pleasing to the eye. Several short walks bring you up quite close and one is able even to walk thru some of the arches. It is not only the arches that will impress you, as when entering the park you drive past rock formations, that seem to be placed one upon another.

John's Personal Views
One can take a scenic drive thru this park and see most of the formations, but walking trails allow you to get up close and be part of the environment. To really experience the park it is advisable to take some of the walking tours as we did. Would estimate that it is a half day trip, but with the Canyonlands National Park so close by you really need to spend a day or two touring this area.

John`s Recollections
These rock formations were quite impressive and a short walk thru one of the areas gave us a close look. They are much larger than I expected and being able to see them in person helped to put it into reality. Many walking trails throughout the park did help to portray a real touch and feel effect.
