John's Comments
A great days drive around the Peninsula allowed for many stops along the way. Many scenic locations with even a chance to see Victoria, BC in Canada.

John`s Recollections
Mount Olympic National Park shows you Washington wilderness views at their finest. Port Angeles handles ferry traffic from Victoria in Canada and provides refuge for many of the smaller animals in the area, like chipmunks and deer. The drive around the peninsula passes many lakes before reaching the wild Pacific ocean. Rather cool weather at the time gave us the feeling that life here could be difficult during the winter months.
