Easy walking with an excellent view makes for above average usage.During the winter months ( snowbirding ) this is a favorite. With a four mile return trip and at 2-3 times per week one does not even get tired of the scenery. The Intercoastal waterway always has a different appearance.
A half way pit stop in Dunedin is well deserved and there you can find many establishments to quench the thirst.

Take a look at what downtown Dunedin provides. One is quite able to walk, bike or even drive this small downtown area and the time limit is dependant on how many times one stops to look around

Bike Paths that return you where you came from

Pinellas Trail to Clearwater
Yes, another bicycle/walking trail will take you back to Clearwater. Personally, I usually park my vehicle at a small parking lot at the west end of Sunset Point Rd, bike the Pathway into Dunedin, then take the Pinellas Trail back to Sunset. A short trip west on Sunset completes the cycle.
